lol, mine is like 90-100....and i'm in good shape!

Resting? That's not good...:(

yea, I've always had it though. I play on a sports team in college and I work out regularly, I even ran cross country in high school. It used to freak out school nurses when they'd take my pulse, but my doctor said its not that big a deal, at least not at this point. Nothing I can do about it, so why stress over it?

Maybe you're supporting another person inside you... like that mexican guy that found his twin inside his stomatch. I think he was mexican as least. :Q

I have the same but i'm a marathoner. The army had me goto a cardiologist to make sure i was ok and yes they concluded it was due to excercise. Some runners have as low as 25bpms.

My one friend who is a hardcore swimmer can get his heartrate down to mid-30's at night.

I'd be really worried, GWBush had a resting heartrate of 43 a few years ago.
Don't start thinking about any foreign adventures.

i'm at about 85 bpm. strangely when my heart rate drops below 80 i feel like i'm gonna pass out, especially when i am in the bed on the verge of going to sleep.

I'm unconvinced that low heart rate translates to general heart health and fitness.

My resting HR averages in the upper 40s and never less than about 42 (awake). I wouldn't say I have good cardiovascular health however because I take medication (ACE inhibitor) for high blood pressure. The medication is not lowering my HR, BTW.

I had a chest x-ray to determine if I had an enlarged heart but that proved negative.

When did you measure it? If you measure it right after you get up I think it'll be lower than normal.

My resting heart rate is below 60 as well, when I donated blood I had to get my doctors permission or they wouldn't do it.
