My reset switch does not work :-(

My reset switch does not work. All it does it blank out my screen. I don't get a display. It seems like it tried to reboot, but never finished. What could be causing this? Could it be I have the reset wire on backwards?

No, you can't put a reset switch on backwards. It's just an on/off switch...
