My regret for the day

I'm taking this soccer class and today was the last day of class

The entire semester I made lots of mistakes since I'm from the states and I grew up playing basketball and american football.

We went to overtime and people were being nice. They know I'm not really good but they encouraged me to shoot the ball. I was the second person to shoot.... and I knew this was my chance. I really wanted to end this soccer class on a good note in my memory and at least have a shot at the goal.
It was just me against the goalie with the whole class silently watching. I wanted to shoot it to the side and I slowly ran towards the ball.
I shot the ball with the side of my foot and the ball ended up.... no where near the goal.
I was pretty devastated... since if the person behind me makes it, they win. I think I let the entire team down

The good news is that the person from the other team didn't make it... he actually made the same mistake I did and he's a really good player. The funnier story is that, no one made a goal for at least 6 shots. 8 of the 10 players on each team got to shoot. They won btw.... but I wish I can have another shot at that goal... 😱
I really enjoyed the two sports classes I took this semester... golf and soccer. I perfected my golf swing from basically nothing and I'm thinking of taking soccer again next semester.

did you try your best? if so, no worries. you learned something new, stayed in shape, and (hopefully) had a good time and met new people.

the entire semester? Yes. I tried my best.

For the final overtime shot? No, I made a mistake and want another chance *cries*

Soccer is a very fun sport. All the team hussle you get from any other sport, just a lot less wasted time with fouls.
