My RDRAM will and will not run at spec 8(

Here's my setup:

Abit TH7II-RAID
Pentium 4 1.6A
(2) 256 MB Samsung 8 device single sided

Now here's the deal. I've been testing with different settings to try find where I would be most happy with overclocking.

At first, my motherboard didn't have a working"fix" AGP/PCI speed and I couldn't run my memory with a 4x multiplier (no matter the speed). After I flashed my motherboard BIOS (with the SAME version BIOS -38, the most recent official version) I was able to use the locked AGP/PCI speed, AND was able to use my memory with a 4X multiplier.

At first I ran my system @ 133 FSB with a 3x ram multiplier for a couple days. Everything worked great. Then I ran for 140fsb with a 3x muliplier. Everything ran fine (prime 95 had no hiccups overnight).

Then I tried running OC'ing the RAM some more. I tried running from 100 fsb to 133 fsb with a 4x multiplier at 5mhz increments. It wasn't stable at 133fsb, so I lowered it to 125 fsb and things were running fine. I had my system up for 10 hours. However, when I rebooted my system wouldn't start. So I dropped the fsb some more, still wouldn't boot.

Here are my final findings thus far:

My RAM will and will not run at SPEC.

I can run 100fsb x 3 with no problems (no surprises)
I can run 100fsb x 4 with no problems (no surprises, it's spec)

I cannot run 133 fsb x 3! (still effectively 400fsb, so it's still spec right? the ram won't run, can't boot)
I can boot @ 110x3 (but I get errors in Prime95)

This is where I'm confused. I can and cannot run at spec. If my RAM isn't the problem, is it possible that my *gulp* memory clock generators are damaged? or, is my ram the problem? I definately will test some more, but if anyone can give me suggestions, i'm more than willing to hear them out!

The memory is speced to run at 100mhz FSB not 133mhz regardless of the multiplier. You are out of spec.....

I would stick with the 4x multiplier no matter what and go at the highest FSB from there.
I've got 16 device Samsung 256meg Rimms and so far they are running at 133 no problem. When I initially got my board (TH7II) it would post at 133 but not boot, I let the chip run at 1.8 overnight, came back the next day and it did 2.4 (18x133) with no problems (Prime torture for 12 hours).
