My RAZR (Cingular) phone is shot - need phone #'s off it

Long story short - water damage on my RAZR, can't read the SIM card, powers on but screen is very bad - says "Insert SIM, Emergency Calls Only"

I can use the SIM in another phone fine but I only get a subset of all my numbers. Any way I can access the numbers off my broken phone to get them onto my new phone?

TIA

Tim

have you tried mobile phone tools? that's what you'd use if the razr was ok....not sure if it'll work in the condition it's in now.

when was the water damage? are you sure it's all dried out?

My brother's RAZR V3c took a trip in the washing machine (full load), and then in the dryer (full load), and all that was damaged was the battery, it didn't hold a charge after that, we replaced the battery and it worked perfectly, in perfect condition.

How long did you wait to turn it on after you water-damaged it? Usually if you take out the battery and let it sit for a day or two, it will still work.

It was fully dry when we turned it on, since we ran the dryer before we went to bed.

What if you cleaned the contacts on the SIM card with some contact cleaner or rubbing alcohol carefully.
