So this guy comes into my store a few minutes ago (mattress store). He's looking for a twin bed for his kid. Fine, great. Show him our basic set for $180CDN ($110US approx).

Too much money.

I honestly dont understand how you could get a twin mattress, boxspring, and frame for less than that. Unless you bought used.

Argh!

Sorry, lame thread... just had to vent.

When you say used. Does that include stains?

That is a pretty damn good deal. I paid like $300 for my sucky ass mattress, boxspring and frame.

ah, it still doesn't make any sense to me. I told him to go to "competitor x" (that I knew wouldn't have a twin bed for under $500), and said yeah, I hear they're having a really big sale. you should go check it out.

full size in that same bed is about $50 more.
