LOL--Actually, the "Hispanic" population is the fastest growing ethnic group in the USA. I am assuming that the study was of American citizens. Did you hear the news that there were more Hispanic babies BORN in Los Angeles than any other race?

(Now, for those you who are very detail oriented, I realize that Hispanic is not a true race, but just assume that for sake of discussion . . . And please don't turn this thread into a racist one)

Energy 92.7? Everyone in the Chicago area knows this pain...sadness. :(

yep...sucks bigtime. They played a lot of old crap from 80s but some of the newer stuff was pretty darn good :(

NOoooooooooo don't remind me of 92.7!!! It was one of my favorite stations till they started spewing spanish music!! :(

you guys got 92.7 all the way out in Lake Zurich? I didnt know it went that far

The other thing I hated about Energy was that most of the DJ's had ABSOLUTELY no PERSONALITY at all. They were beyond boring, to the point where I switched to another radio station until the music came back on.

These days, I listen mostly to 94.7, 101.1, 103.5, 107.5 (WGCI, I think), and 96.3.

I used to have an MP3 CD player with a cig adapter, but the cigarette lighter broke. Battery life on the CD player was horrible, so I gave it to my sister. Sucks ass

Haha... get used to it. The Spanish are the fastest growing population in America. In my opinion, in another 10 years America will see big big changes. And most are going to favor the Spanish.

Naah, after Bush is done with the Arabs and the Communists he'll go after the Latinos.

Well, that's going to suck. I have nothing against the people of Mexico or Spain, and there's nothing wrong with them living here, but if they're going to come here and get jobs here, they should learn our language. I think it's high time that English be made the official language of our country. :disgust:

Where have you been? I have nothing against any race either. They are making Spanish the Official language of the United States of Mexico. Just go down to Dade County Florida (Miami). Spanish was passed into law 5 years ago or more as the Official language. Just look it up for yourselves.

The same thing happened in Norcross Georgia (just 10 miles Northeast of the city of Atlanta) just a couple of years ago. All of the area went Hispanic and changed all the stores etc and the new signs were all in Spanish. The City of Norcross tried to intervene and simply asked that at least 25% of the signs be in English at least for Police and Fire Dept/Rescue purposes. The Lation population hired an Attorney that took the City of Norcross to Court that they did not have to have any English at all. Guess what, the Latino lawsuit won. Spanish is the Official language.

Yea same here. Denver had a kick ass 80's station called 96.5 The Peak. They even had Nina Blackwood (one of the orignal VJ's from MTV) as the afternoon DJ. Now its all Latino :(
