I ordered a Radeon 8500 LE 128 MB vid card from Newegg.com. Unfortunately it's stock clocking is 250/200 core and mem respectively. I can get it up to 300/240 no problem. I spent $119 on it shipped. Did I get a very good deal? The card performs well enough I guess, but would it have been better to get a 64 meg model that has RAM that's more overclockable? I think the RAM it has now is 5 ns Hynix crap. It kinda makes me mad. I've tried flashing the BIOS like some have suggested, but that just makes the screen all garbled, so I just switch it back (good thing I backed up my old bios and know how to write flashing commands into autoexec.bat, eh?). Tell me what you people think. I already emailed Newegg about returning the card (since it's advertised as 250/230) or getting a different one. I'm kind of flustered about this whole thing. I was hoping for the 3.6 or even 4 ns RAM.
