My RA is insane.

We have co-op at Drexel, 6 months of class, 6 months of work. My RA is coming off co-op, and starting classes tomorrow. He has 19.5 credits, his RA job, AND he is keeping his co-op job part time, which involves him getting up at 5:30 every morning. He was already strict about noise at night....he was just storming the halls yelling at people for being too loud, at 9:55.

Do you get paid for your work time, or is it like an unpaid internship? If you get paid, that sounds SWEET! I'd want to work at a police department.

You get paid. Average of $14,000 for a 6 month period for the college of engineering. You can work anywhere in the country you want, you just have to show that it is in some way related to your major.

Yeah, we lived right above our RA in a dorm built in 1933. He used to come up and tell us to stop being noisy. He was nice about it though. He looked like a 20 year old version of Richard from Caroline in the City. We used to call him Richard. I don't know what his real name was.

i spent the weekend at drexel last spring for a conference on digital library research. NICE CAmpus! ... and damn, i was impressed with Philly too.... not at all what I expected.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. We are actually getting alot of new buildings in the next few years. Two new high-tech research facilities, the one looks really cool. And some new class buildings and whatnot.

tell him to take a hike.
He'd write me up in a second for that.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I thought it was a nice campus. Couple of very new looking buildings, but also some with historical significance. 🙂

The buildings are nice....although our campus is small. And we are horridly overshadowed in niceness by damn penn being next door, makes everyone seem to think we look like crap 😛

Depends on the college, for us, it's pretty straightforward, the parents have little to no say in what happens judicially.

If you get enough strikes against you(I think its 3 for the same infraction), you are kicked out of the dorms.
