I had to give up my Dog after a year of ownership when I got Divorced. That sucked so fricken hard. I loved him.

Funny how we get more attached to animals than people sometimes.

Dogs don't cheat on you or take your money 😉

I don't know what I'd do without my dog Visa now.

I didn't want to get a dog at all, but now I don't know how I'd g o without having her sleep at the foot of my bed.

Yeah the sad thing is I was posing the question "man how did we live without a dog before?"
Earlier.

Damn, sorry to hear it. That sucks. It really bugs me when people hit animals and then drive off as if nothing happened.

My mom had to put her cat to sleep. Apparently the tuna she was feeding him did something funky and clogged him up so to speak. She had no idea tuna would do that. On the bright side, you don't have to live with the fact that you killed your dog. 🙁

Thanks some more.

I know vets have certain hours but, It just didn't seem right to have basically no one tthere at 2pm on a friday.

I forgot to mention that the telephone lady tried her best to look for help but, there wasn't anything she could really do.
Perhaps even she didn't know and/or you live deep, deep in the boonies, but most yellow pages list several, many with full, half and quarter paid ads, right in with the other vets. Look in your own yellow pages for yourself, for, god forbid, a next time.

She's sounds like she was a special dog for you.

we have a Pomeranian. They are such fun dogs and always so... perky and active. I love him to death... he lives with my parents now (I moved out) and I hold him in my arms every chance I get... just did it a few hours ago. He's gotten away from us a few times... they see an opening and they just bolt... no thought for what else is going on... and we live on a pretty busy street.

Once it crossed the street but luckily there were no cars and the snow bank stopped him from escaping further. Another time while in the care of a friend (who ran track)... she caught up to him down the block. Another time our garage door was slightly opened and he flew outta there.. I had to run upstairs to get some sneakers and I finally chased him down 3 blocks away in the soaking rain (it's a miracle I saw which direction he turned)... I don't know what I'd do if I ever saw something bad happen to him. But g'damn can they run.

So sorry for your loss... they are true companions... but get a little too excited at times.
