My PSU is possessed

I installed a new PSU monday night and everything seemed to be going great. So i took my tower over to a friends house yesterday to take a couple gigs of stuff of his computer, mostly anime. I was too lazy to bring my monitor and keyboard so when I got there, I had to connect and use his. After I hooked up my PC to his stuff, I was looking for my key to unlock my front panel and turn it on when all of a sudden the computer switches on, or so I thought. At first I was too busy showing him the cool lights and stuff inside my PC, then I thought about it for a second and I realized there was no way it should be on, the power switch on the PSU should've been shut off. So I checked and yes it was off. I flipped it on and then off again and nothing happened, the comp was still on, but there was no picture on the monitor. I unplugged the power cord from the PSU and still the comp was on. Just that all the fans inside were spinning really really slowly, i could almost see all the blades and all the lights were dimmer than normal. So I left it there for about a minute and it was still on. Eventually i just said screw it, connected the power cord back to the psu and hit the power button on the computer itself. Then it decided to turned off, after that it's been working normally.
The entire time I was in disbelief especially when the comp was still working without a power cord. I was thinking of RMA the PSU and getting a new one since this wasn't the color I wanted, but I'm too lazy for that...

:Q only thing i can think of is that maybe the capacitors inside the PSU held charge that ran the fans for a little longer. I mean, I touched the stuff after I unplugged a PSU, and it gave me a nasty shock. Also, some computers automatically turn on when you plug'em in...my sister's Dell does that; it's annoying as hell.

True, but I've never seen it happen when the actual power switch on the PSU was off. Plus mine has never come on automatically before even with the switch on. Heh that's life...

Get a PKG meter and search for ectoplasmic levels in the PSU. Its hauuuuuunted

Now if i could just find one of those on ebay for less than $20 bucks I'd be saved...

Oh good point...I totally forgot about that power switch. Maybe the switch isn't connected properly/isn't connected at all? beats me man...I'd go for the PKG at this point.
