What do you care what he says, would you actually be offended?

The professor wasn't saying something everyone in the class hadn't heard before, and probably use when speaking to their friends all the time. I don't see the big deal.

they're not online classes. most well-funded schools tape their lectures so that they can be accessed to students afterwards for reference. As far as I can tell, Berkeley, MIT, and Stanford do it... not sure about the rest. Oh, and when you go to a hard class (note: one that requires a curve), sometimes getting a mere 25% can get you the top grade 🙂
