My President's Day weekend

I spent about from 4pm Sunday until about 2am doing this on and off, taking little food/tv breaks while paint would dry and such and about another 7 hours of the same schedule today.

Just wanted to share some pics of my work so far. I have the engine finished, and mounted on the frame. Rear wheel and swingarm is also finished.

EDIT: Whatever happened to the autolinkin feature...

EDIT2:

Here are the pics of the finished product. 🙂 I kinda messed up a lot, but I plan on making another model some time soon, so the experience should stick with me. Here are the pics. 😀

I bought it from riverside hobbies in Sac since I wanted it this weekend instead of ordering from tower hobbies. They're a pretty nice place, although stuff is retail/expensive.

EDIT: links and time

I think I should be finished by the end of the week, maybe another 20 hours of actual work. I plan to airbrush the panels candy blue with silver lines/highlights and just waiting for paint to dry isn't actual time, is it? 🙂 Of course, I'll have more pics when I'm done.

Nice! Here's my toy bike: link

I used to do models as a kid, I should get back into them with cars and bikes like this. Good stuff.
