I just bought my first stocks yesterday. I bought about $100 worth yesterday and another $100 after hours. Of the $100 I put in, I'm up 99 cents. I am waiting for my confirmation to see what I bought the other stock (the second $100) at since I bought it after hours. I'm not putting alot, just dabbling a bit and playing around.

Update: Just got confirmation for the other $100 I put in. I'm up $5.31 now.
 
i'm planning on sending some funds to play around with my new ameritrade account that i've never used. To be honest, the setup scares me. 🙂 AMD looks like a good buy, but I'll take it when it's less than $8

I know that. That's just where it is now. I don't plan on selling. I'm investing for the long-term (5+ years).
