Well that's not all that was on there but I had an embarrassing amount of GBs on there. Long time collection.

It suffered the click of death. That night I only backed up a few key docs and such. Next day I made the mistake of unplugging it. Tried to hook it back up now it no longer registers.

Lost a bunch of music as well but I can't think of much else that got lost so I guess it's not that big a deal, just annoying.
 
Porn isn't a big loss. There's so many sites with free porn nowadays that the only reason to keep a personal stash is for those days you don't have internet.

On another note, you try the freezer trick? Depending on the type of malfunction, it might work.you can at least copy out a lot of the files before it fails again.
 
I have no idea why anyone stores pron these days. It's so readily available on the net, it's just not worth storing anymore.

Like I said, old collection. Not sure if I even watched all the vids.

I froze it but for not very long and it didn't work, now it's wet. Gonna let it dry, stash it in a closet then freeze it longer at a later date. Don't feel like messing with it this weekend.
 
I wondered why people buy the 3tb hard drives and still run out of space. 😀

3gb Is a lot considering images are a few hundred kb, and the average motherless video is 50mb.
