My POed Poodle....

we have been puppy sitting (the little brown thing) for the last 3wks, and i think my little pooch (white one) is about to lose it

We had a mix that used to act crazy...we picked up this little yellow book called something like "The puppy book".

Anyway..whenever it starts to act up, put the dog on its back, and hold it there until it calms down. This establishes dominance. Not too long after we did this, our dog turned it to a very sweet natured one.

the little white one is relly nice, he is 7 and the pups are 12wks. he is a lot of show and no go. my wife just happend to catch the pic of him showing the teeth and i thought it was pretty funny. a couple of year ago we watched a friend of ours great dane pup - 90# pup and the little white dog did the same thing.

he would never attack or even bite another dog, i guess he is trying to use deterrence but it is not working out for him.

a few minutes after that pic was taken, he was on his back playing with the pups. i guess that is why i find the pic so amusing because it is definately not his character, hell he is a toy poodle

nah, the pups are on his territory, i guess he is trying to show them this is his house. he never bit/attacked them
