Ok my GF3 ti-200 can't even hit 500 speed...artifacts everywhere...tops out at 490...and that's with copper ramsinks applied with artic adhesive...give me a break...they should at least be able to hit 500 since they're 4ns...anyone else have the same problem?

I have the same problem with my VT GF3 Ti200. Stock cooling though, I top out at 480MHz for the memory.

It's unfortunate, but it's far from unheard of. It's not a terribly rare occurance for RAM to fail to overclock to the speed at which it should theoreticaly be capable of.

I bet oftentimes it's due to simply not reviewing enough voltage to hit it's theoretically obtainable speeds, or perhaps an issue with the PCB layout of the board.

yeah, i've got a pny gf3 ti200 that starts producing visual annomolies above 460. 🙁 any ideas about how it go further, or did i just get a bad card?
