It hasnt done that before? I would think it was just a difference in reported clock to actual clock, but it shouldnt change on its own. Did you change memory or bios settings?

dont think anything of it, it only amounts to .5% in clockspeed difference.

Don't worry about, it. You should think about getting rid of it soon anyways though. I would try a 1.6 applebred cpu for 40 bones and a 60 dollar nforce 2 board.

a. the 5 mhz will not be make a difference
b. the mobo is slightly underclocking the FSB, not uncommon
