'My Pictures' thumbnails

My 'My Pictures' directory has started to behave a little strangely. When I scroll down a few lines of pictures, they all become black images (even though they load fine in IE, PSP, etc..). Does anyone know what might be going wrong? There are quite a few images in there, but I wouldn't say it was excessive.

Reinstall PSP and see what happens.

I have done.

But its the windows preview thing thats the problem. PSP's 'browse' function works flawlessly.

If you have powertoys installed and increased the thumbnail quality with tweakui, undo any changes you made. I tried altering the quality once, and all of my thumbnails turned gray.
