I dont know how to explain, but i have 256MB PC133 ram(2x128).

the physical memory is always under 60MB.

I use MemoryTurbo, then u jump back right up to 130MB

I remember 2 months ago, my memory is plenty, never went below 100.

Did i set somehting wrong?
I set the Min and Max filecache 65535
and chunkside = 512

Are you using Windows 2000? Win2k always frees up as much physical ram as it can. Regular programs such as MemoryTurbo ends up slowing down your system... in other words it doesn't work too well. =P

icqplus
scanregistry
systemtray
taskmonitor
Zbrowser Launcher(logitech itouch)

that is my startup.
when i load IE(even IE), my harddrive will run(i assume if i have plenty of ram, my hardrive won't run as often/heavy as i don't have enough)

once again, i have 256MB PC133 ram, 1 stick of KingMax and 1 stick of noname

W2K just has a big affection for ram... not much to be done unless you do want to slow down your system... 🙁

<< btw..u may be in the wrong forum for this question? >>

your right gtd 2000!
wonder why I didn't notice this myself? 😱

yes
i mean which OS.

seems Win2k has a better memory management.
I don't use Memturbo or any of that.
