My mother in law. 😉

I'd be afraid to even handle the last peppers on your list, let alone eat them. Habanero is the limit for flavor for me; after that, it's mainly just heat and I don't particularly enjoy.

Yeah, you've gotta use latex gloves to handle the Jolokias for sure but they actually arequite flavorful. You'd probably only use one in a very large pot of chili.

We have this unofficial competition going between guys in the shop where I work at so see who can make the hottest yet best tasting salsa/pico. Last week my buddy brought in some that had over 30 plain habaneros in the mix. We all eat the stuff because we've all just gotten used to it... But come Mid-July - August, I'm gonna unleash hell with these suckers!!:laugh::laugh:BWAAHAHAHAHAHA:laugh::laugh::laugh:

P.S. Sorry, no pics right now. I'm feelin lazy bout that at the moment, plus I'm walking out the door to go get some ice cream with my kids... Maybe later though when I get back

I NEVER have any luck with peppers. I planted several habeneros several years ago and all I got was 3 to 4 peppers per plant.

This is like a when someone says they've posted pics of hot chics and it turns out that they're all of their moms.

Agreed. Good job on the pics - but you have no fruit and very little if any blossoms. I would also suggest you not keep the soil so moist.

Way to go, man! I love peppers! My landlord and I just set up a hydroponic system in the yard so we're going to see what we can do with some Habaneros and Jalapenos. Where did you get the seeds/seedlings for the hotter ones? I could use those in my venison chili!

Did you use a webcam camera? Those shots are pretty bad. Get a better camera, then post pics of the actual peppers!

Very nice! We attempted a pepper garden, but I don't think it's turning out very well. Just don't have the time to keep up with them. 🙁

BTW, are you using a 640x480 digital camera from like 1992 or something? Those pictures are aweful! 😛

You need some New Mexico Big Jim. Not so much on the hot scale, but they are damned tasty green chile.

I gave the wife some room for lettuce and spinach so I only have 2 NM Big Jim, 2 Anaheim, and 2 bell pepper. I havent had much luck with bell pepper in the past, but I am hoping for better this time around.

Watch the cross pollination. Your bell peppers might be a bit warmer than expected.

nm. My wife tells me bell peppers won't cross pollinate with the others. Green chiles and banana peppers do but not bells.
