MY PC IS TAKING FOREVER TO DISPLAY CPU SPECS WTF!

ive had my pc overclocked the same for a good time now and its been stable since the beginning. now it seems as if there is a software problem because when i right click on my computer and go to properties, nothing is displayed under COMPUTER: it takes a good 5 mins before anything comes up, and winrar wont even run until 5 mins. its almost as if something is holding the whole machine back? should i just reformat, or is there an easier solution.

check to see if your prime/mem stable first.....sometimes, when you install a new software/driver, it will no longer be stable....
