My PC hates Overclocking

I think my PC is lazy or something. I had a A64 3000 and i couldnt get the FSB past 206 before it would either fail to post or delete everything on my hard drive for no apparent reason

Now i have a A64 4200 X2 and i tried overclocking it and i got to 206, then put her up to 207 and she booted fine. I was like, sweet. must have been that crappy ram i had or that CPU hated me. So i restarted and went to put her up to 208. She booted but no HD spin, screen was black, and it wasnt responsive. I hit the kill switch and cleared the CMOS.

Needless to say, im kind of pissed that my PC Refuses to overclock past 206 FSB.. Good news is. For some reason my multiplyer isnt locked. It was on the 3000 but on my 4200 i can play with the multiplyer. Didnt want to dick around with it just incase but maybe you guys can give me some advice on how to slap this lazy ass PC into action.

Tsu.
