My partition won't format!

So I wanted to reformat a partition of my raided drives and it ended up installing a new version of XP on the partition that didnt have XP on it before. Now when I start up it asks which install I want to use. I dont need the first partition that USED to have XP on it so I tried formatting it in order to rid myself of that other XP copy. That wouldnt work so I manually deleted everything on that drive. Even now I cant quite clear off everything on that partition.

WHAT DO I DO?

You will want to make your new partition the system partition in disk manager if you haven't done so already. Don't forget that ntldr, ntdetect, and boot.ini are likely still on the C:\ partition.

backup, un-raid, re-raid.
if that dosent help:
backup, un-raid, *format*, re-raid.
if u have zap, use it.

well didnt want to but ended up wiping both C and D to get the job done....oh well i had to....

GIT 'ER DONE!
