And surprisingly, it has sucked. Not because I miss the company of my parents, but because I can't go anywhere. I only have a driver's permit, and can't drive unless they're in the car with me. I've had to sleep at a neighbor's house, because according to my mom, "if something were to happen to you, no one would know about it." The example she gave was falling down the stairs. Uh..hello, is something more likely to happen to me when I'm laying in bed asleep, or am I more likely to hurt myself in the concious hours of the day?

But anyway, sleeping at their house is awkward of course.

My friends have either had other commitments or been out of town. So basically, I've just been sitting on my ass, playing piano, and doing what I'm doing now. They get home around midnight tonight.

You're a good kid...if you had your drivers license, your weekend would have been much different!

Now, hold on, now, that's not exactly what I said. I *might* have done a thing or two that they wouldn't approve of...;) (cough cough, there's a hint for ya;))

BUT

with neighbors breathing down my neck, who all know that they're out of town and that I'm not supposed to have people over, well, there's only so much I can do.

Don't feel bad my mom didn't let me stay home alone for years. Even when she finally let me it was like 6 months before I left for college and she still didn't want me too.

I know they don't, but he probably would have atleast gone out more, if he could drive... :) Which is why he's a good kid.
