On an old 386 machine I'm trying to fix up for church, It isn't finding any of the Parallel ports (LPT1: namely). I ran Microsoft Diagnostics, and it says that no LPT ports are found, but I checked the IRQ's and it is showing an IRQ for LPT1 and LPT2 but it's saying it's not detecting it. My question is, if I buy a ISA Parallel card will it just create a new LPT port? And also will I have to go into the BIOS to set it up or install any drivers? I can't seem to find out how to get into the BIOS I've tried Del, F1, Esc, and just about everykey but it doesn't get into it so thanks for any answers.
