My Page Up and Down don't work properly on my laptop

When I hit page up it goes all the way to the top (home). When I hit page down it comes right back up instantly.

It's been like this ever since I plugged in a keyboard and mouse into usb. I didn't install drivers so I don't see why it isn't going back to normal...

any suggestions?

Laptop is a Dell Studio 15
 
Which keyboard misbehaves - laptop, USB, or both? Does it happen when the external USB device is not connected?

I found out what was the problem. Turned out it was an option in firefox. I unchecked "Always use cursor keys for scrolling"

Works fine now
