what kinda of temps. should I be getting from my 2.0A??

stock temps were about 49 Celsius full load... but now that its at 2.4 the temps are jumping to near 60 (ie. 59ish).
is this too high?
should I invest in a better cooler? right now I'm using the stock hs/f.

By the way what does the stock hsf do for rpm??? I think you need a minimum 4000rpm 30+ cfm fan at 2.4ghz to get job done...You could get less rpm with an 80mm fan but the cost is up a bit...

I'm running my P4 1.8A @ 2.3Ghz (128FSB) and am using the retail HSF with ASII. My temps (in SoCal, it's in the high 80's here with no AC) run high 30s at idle to 50-51C running Prime95 or gaming.

I'm perfectly satisfied with the performance of my retail HSF on this OCed P4.

Do you have any case fans? What are the temps being reported for the MOBO/case temp?

OK, the retail HSF aint all that bad for mild use - but never ever use the TIM it comes with.

I should be very safe from my temp reading i am getting right now...
running Prime95 as i am typing this...
running my thermaltake volcano 7+ @ high fan speed @ 6000RPM+
CPU temp 40.0C
System temp 25.0C
Room Temp 22.0C
I do have 2 intake fans and 2 exhaust fan all with thermal control sensor
Plus dual fan exhaust from PSU
so go figure if 60C is high or not
