my p3 is FREEZING!!!!!

i got a vc820 p3 with 256 rdram.

when i access pages with flash or do a lot of downloading, my pc just freezes...no ctrl+alt+delete....no nothing

i am running 2k pro. any ideas??

I saw the same thing happen to my P3 a few days ago in W2K.

I had just added some RAM and had all the slots full. Hangs up often with flash or graphics intensive pages with all the slots full. Fill all but one and it's rock solid. Not the RAM itself either, as all the sticks run fine as long as there is 3 or fewer of the 4 slots filled.

My system is completely different than yours, but just a though.

so bozo, you think it is my nic? it is the first time i am running 2k as my main os....i've been fine with 98se for a long time.....so you suggest moving it to a different slot??
