i wired most of my cables through the non-mobo side of the computer, but no matter how i juggled them i could not get them flat enough. i can put the side panel on, but it bulges a bit. is this going to be a problem and how can i fix this?

Since you 'juggled' the cables as much as you could it doesn't sound like you can do much with your current PSU/case setup. As for the bulging it's really up to your preference for looks. It is mostly cosmetic although I will say this about my P180 and it's panels: I have left them in cold weather once before and the adhesive used to hold the '3-ply' panels together started to seperate making a small warp in the panel. I'm fine with it after all it's just a PC case.

Are your PSU cables sleeved and/or ziptied? Maybe you could unsleeve and unzip the parts that are giving you trouble so you can spread out the cable and make flatter in the areas where needed?

I saw some shots from Hardocp forums with ppl taping their wires down. The trick is not to have all the wires bundled together, and the area behind the mobo is not the proper place to put slack (e.g. the extra length of the wires\cables you dont need).
