I think that would work nicely. It would give a neater appearance and the 120mm fan on the psu is sufficient by itself down there. No need for any extra fans at all in the bottem chamber the way you have your P180 setup. I like the pics :) Well done.

Finally, I meet someone as impatient as I am. So how much work do you have left on this, other than the fan controller? I'm at odds right now trying to figure out what I should upgrade. It sucks.

i'm debating.... PSU cables running through the bottom chamber with the fan out of there (the nexus and stealth I put in there on my own will still be there) or run the PSU cables like they are.... in the top chamber sitting on top of the sliding door. what do you think?

What kind of space is going to be available for ventilation? Will one setup (removing the fan) have more ventilation than the other? I would definitely go for function over form. Basically, is it between looking pretty or working better, or just deciding which one over another...
Tas.

EDIT: for clarification

Sigh.... it's your computer dude, but I still cannot comprehend the reasoning behind an 80mm fan 2 cm away from a 120, which is in front of another 120, which is cooling a psu that has it's own fan. Nice work nonetheless, I like the tubing. Where did you get tubing that small in diameter? I could use some of that stuff.

Still need a shot or two from all the way out, and not zoomed in... Very nice from the pics, but I need a basis of comparison...

Well, if someone has to poke and prod you to show off your machine, then so be it... But atleast give us material for the Dynamix scale rating. *eg*

After debating what to do because of my idling temps @ 36c.... I decided to go to work. I had my HD's in the top chamber -- BAD mistake. I HIGHLY recommend you put them in the bottom. I kept my 80mm Vantec stealth fan in the bottom infront of the HD's as an intake blowing over the HD's which blows into a 120mm CM Led fan which then blows out the back. I'm idling @ 31c right now with my XP-120 /w a Panaflo U1A on it. I took a few pics here --

Impressive! That's amazing considering how much stuff you had to work with and the power supply you were using. I give it an A.

Wow. Very nice. I can't upload your pics while I'm at work, but I will be doing a before / after kind of thing with your entry, since it is an update. It will atleast have links to the previous entry. :) Awesome work.

So there really isn't anything else you are going to be doing with your machine? Wow, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone actually being done. hehehehe
