Don't know what's the problem yet...
maybe it's time to reinstall win98, maybe the L1 bridge need to
be redraw, maybe need to clock down the T-Bird a bit, maybe it's
the nics slowing me down...maybe it's my hdd...

My overclocked T-Bird 750 @ 1050 1.85v last week I noticed whenever
I open programs..regardless of which program it is...IE, Winamp, Cuteftp, etc...there is an half sec delay before program start loading...so weird...and reboot won't help...anyone experiencing simular problems???

T-Bird 750 oc 1050 @1.85v, 256mb pc-133 micron, antec case w/ 300w power, ibm 30gb dtla on udma 100 channel, pioneer 10x dvdrom, plextor 8432a, g400 32mb dh, netgear 310tx nics, sb live, adaptec 2940u...

Checking the L1 bridges might help, and I can't help but wonder if Windoze is screwing itself up in the usual fashion. If you can get a copy of Norton Utilities, run WinDoctor. This has solved all kinds of Windows and registry glitches for me.

clock it back to normal and see if the problem persists, if it does, then you've eliminated alot of possible causes
