I ran my intel E2180 for the longest time @ 333x9 with a 2.40 ram multi in 5:6 gtetting 2.997ghz. After I installed my logitech MX518 mouse and G15 keyboard I noticed my overclock was gone the day after! It was down below stock clocks b/c I use 9x multipier rather then 10x!
My ram doesn't seem to want to go anyhigher then 200mhz in CPU-Z
I reset all bios to optimized defaults and started over making sure everything was correct. I set it to 333....all that stuff already mentioned above. CPU-Z reports 200.0 Bus Speed, 800mhz FSB, 9x Multiplier, and 1800mhz Core Speed!
Memory speed is reported at 266mhz 4-4-410-14 in the first column and 400mhz 5-5-5-15-21 in the second.
Should I reset my bios by removing the mobo battery and try again?
ANY IDEAS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. If I can't fix this I will have to upgrade my cpu to take advantage of a new video card such as the 9800gx2 or ATI R700, and Nvidia G200
BTW, I have all the power savings features off and had prevously had a ROCK STABLE OC!
