my P5B-E acting weird lately, sometime it won't boot, i have to switch memory to different slots to make it work. the memory sticks are fine, maybe i put too much voltage to the board at 1.475.

so don't give too much voltage to board or memory

I'm not able to change the voltage is the bios, the screenshots I showed you only give me a few options with Vcore such as "Ignore". I didnt overclock via the bio I did it through an Asus overclocking GUI..

So what I really need is a way to decrease the voltage....But it seems I cant do this via the bios, since you have the same board and I take it bios, how do you change the vcore? like steps of how to?

Thanks for your help darkfalz

here's my bios screenshots

Wow, i didn't know that..only 1.17V..
I have OC'ed my E6600 to 3ghz successfully and in CPU-Z and other utils I am on 1.328v (default). Fitted with arctic cooler 7 pro.

I guess I will have a try in reducing the CPU voltage!

Good luck! Don't forget to report back on how low you managed to take the vcore. I have never seen an E6600 do 3GHz at lower voltage than 1.17V but it would be cool to see someone make it.
