My OS (win98) still thinks a game is still installed, and i can't re-install it.. *fixed it*

hey,

was gonna install Baldur's Gate II, I'm at the second CD, and I get a black screen, and my computer reboots..
So I go in windows' control panel, and uninstall the game through the "add/remove programs" program.Then i deleted the BG2 folder I had made for the game.

But now the game still shows up in the add/remove panel, and it looks like it does indeed uninstall the game, and there's not even a folder left for it..running the install from the CD gives me a "Play" only option..Worst thing is I deleted all of the "Bioware corp." registry keys in my registry.Yet it still thinks the game is installed??

Any ideas?
