My office building stinks :(

Our office is across the street from an organic waste dump. The smell of compost and methane is bad enough when you're walking to the parking garage, but for some reason today our ventilation is taking that smell in.

The only safe place I've found is the server room, with clean-smelling fresh A/C air. Otherwise, everywhere you go smells garbagey. And several days of rain here in Chicago is no help. 🙁

I am sure you have noticed an odor in the air and we have determined it is coming from the landscaping company across the street.

In order to stop pumping the odor into the facility I have asked engineering to shut down the ventilation at this point so we don't continue to put it through our air system. The air will be still but it should help with the odor until the end of the day.
