i have a is7 and some ocz 3700 gold dual channel kit

i can get 246 fsb 1:1 but any thing about 250 fsb dont work and the 5:4 divider dont work at all

i was wondering if any one else had this problem or if other board have this problem if not im going to go with a anther board

i read up in the abit forums and it seem a common problem so
any ch5 chips or ocz3700 chips have no 5:4 divider or will go any more than 260 fsb

asus seem like the way to go as long as they dont have the problem

or epox for that matter

so does any one have any suggestions on this matter?

also i would like to know if the soltek board is any good or if it has this problem?

There is an option you have to turn off in the BIOS for it to work properly. However, I don't recall what it was.

It is a known bug at 1:1 memory ratio with Abit boards. You will need to use 5:4 ratio for anything higher than 255fsb.

What are your vdimm settings and ram timings in your bios? You should be using 2.8 vdimm and at 1:1 250 fsb ratio, your ram timings should be 2.5-7-3-3 to start and then try tightening them after you get a stable overclock. Good luck.
