It's not that they make good pizza. It's that they make better delivery Pizza than what the others offer. Oily is really relative to the area. Most of the times I order Pizza Hut from my home it isn't oily at all but just right. When I've ordered from Pizza Hut at a friends house which is from another Pizza Hut it's oily as hell.
 
Pizza Hut is good stuff.

Try that new baked crust stuff or whatever it's called. No grease at all and it tastes awesome.
 
i walk a block any direction, N, S, E, W from my house and get a pizza 10x whatever pizza hut or any other chain pizza store got!!!!!
 
Dude, Pizza Hut is nothing. There used to be a pizza chain around here (not sure if they were national) called Pietro's. Greasiest crap in the world but also the best in the world. Oh I miss them 🙁

Agreed. Visit the East Coast (esp. NY), eat at some hole in the wall and enjoy a real pizza. I don't know about Chicago and midwestern pizza (and I'm suspicious of such pizza becuase Pizza Hut is from the midwest).

A decent general rule, but I have had some truly TERRIBLE Pizza that was extremely oily. Real cheese helps a lot too.
