so?
I assume you get Pun3d when you take your car to the mechanic? They apparently don't know how to fix their computer and thus have to pay the stnadard going rate for such services.

Actually, it looks like ArJuN is the only one getting owned.

[*]Your neighbors are getting the work that they wanted done at a price they were willing to pay. Your neighbors are happy.

[*]Geek Squad is making a killing doing simple tasks. Geek Squad is happy.

[*]ArJuN could have made $100+ doing an easy task, but instead he is posting on ATOT making no money at all. It looks like ArJuN is the only one unhappy here. Therefore, Geek Squad Pun3d ArJuN.

How would you come to that conclusion? Nice try but try again. I was being practical and realistic not bashing on Geek Squad or somebody using them like the kids on the intraweb do.

Unless of course he gets enough satisfaction from watching his neighbors call the geek squad and then posting about it on ATOT to make it worth more then $100+.

Stand back, ma'am, we're going to have to call for backup . . . you may have a virus here!

Just what is the limit on your CC, ma'am?

How about you use some of that money and buy a clue?

Didn't that uniform make you itchy, or was that merely embarrassment?

We all know none of us want to help our friends and relatives fix their spyware-riddled computers, so we should be encouraging them to use the Geek Squad! When they realize how expensive it is maybe they'll stop doing stupid stuff to their computers.

...?

(Obviously means I have no clue what you mean.)

Not everyone's computer skills are as mad 1337 as yours. Some people have to use computer repair services.

He is right though, Geek squad rips people off for what they actually do. Which is almost nothing most of the time. Oh and their god awful VW Bugs are enough to keep me from ever working there.

many of geek squad's services range from 150-300 dollars. i'm a bit clueless with computers, so i'm lucky to have always had someone to help me out when i have a computer issue. that could get expensive fast. the neighbors are getting a service for a price they are willing to pay, but i'm sure there are many people willing to do the same services for half the price.

Geek Squad is horribly overpriced in my area, One would be better off calling a mom and pop store for repair.

"Will it speed up my computer?"

"Yes, into the jiggawatts, sir."

"Jigga what?"

When you put it that way, that sounds great. If it doesn't cost them anything to get the PC working again, meh... but if they're shelling out cash, maybe they'll quit clicking on strange executables and such :p
