I cancelled my order. I'm going to wait patiently and save up a little more cash to get that SXVGA+ or whatever that highest model screen is. :)

Actually the best screen is the 15.0" UXGA at 1600x1200 that's ok if you have great 20/20 eyesight.

I find a 15.0" SXGA (1400x1050) to be comparable to the 19" CRT that I was using.

All the Dell LCD's specs

Also if you increase your budget I would get a better laptop than the 1100, go for the 5150 or 600m.

made in malaysia, big sticker right on the box. makes sense, i knew that everything for asia/pacific was made over there, along with much of their support.
