my Note9 no longer transfer files over USB cable after installing SpaceDesk

SpaceDesk lets me use the phone as an external monitor over USB cable. once i found out it cant transfer files, i uninstalled the app.
now, even without the app, i cant transfer files as seen here:

any idea how i can resolve???

Try this, maybe it's function is unabled.

Choose setting for USB connection

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen. Press the connection icon. Press Transfer files to turn on the function.

thanks but still does not work. looks like win10 was affected somehow as my GoPro is not recognized too.
before, i was able to plug the GoPro in, its folder would auto pop up for me to copy files over into win10....

i was able to get the Samsung working with another laptop or other machines but still definitely not my win10 machines too...

Sounds like a driver issue. Poke around Device Manager, or whatever windows is calling it these days, and see if there's anything interesting in the usb device settings.

you are right. driver is messed up. my samsung tablet does not work on this win10 machine as well. ouch.
i tried this https://developer.samsung.com/mobile/android-usb-driver.html and it also did not work when i tried to update the driver manually

You just have to uninstall the driver from the Pc, by going to:

Add or Remove Programs on window's Start menu << Uninstall the Spacedesk Driver Driver.

At least that's how it worked for me, if you find any other way that enables both monitoring and file transfer then that would be even better.
