I accidentally dropped my G2 pilot pen and it streaked on my Northface Gortex jacket!!!
Unfortunately, it landed on the beige part of the outershell and now it's stained!!
I doubt regular detergent will get it out... what should I do?!

CALL MANUFACTURER!? DRY CLEAN? .... and its also generally dirty on the outside, any one have suggestions on how to clean this $200 monstrosity? :(

Use that greaseless hand cleaner that works wonders for washing your hands after changing the oil or working on a car. Goop is the common brand, but get unscented.

I had a North Face jacket and the goretex stopped working, IE it started soaking in water instead of repelling it. Making an investment like this into a jacket has it upsides, as they have a lifetime warranty on their products. I'm not sure if the warrenty includes this sort of accident, but I would call a North Face store, or the company itself, and ask them what the warranty includes, and if you would be covered. It's worth a shot at least.

Peace,
Matt

You need to reapply water repellant material to the jacket. I use the stuff that you stick in the washer... works great. ALSO... BUY the detergent less cleaner too... it helps.
