Actually that was the Buffalo Sabres in Rochester. Tom Golisano (owner of the Sabres) is from Rochester so they always play one pre-season and one regular season game in Rochester. It was actually a pretty good crowd...our section was the only one that had a significant # of seats available.
I've heard that most games played at HSBC in Buffalo are sellouts. We're going on a hockey tour this winter though--Buffalo, Toronto, Pittsburgh (all within 3 hour drive) and possibly Philly or Boston.
