hey everybody,
my NF7-S did 264FSB 100% stable@1.7V!
it did 260FSB stable@1.4V1
but it wasn't enough for me, and i was too greedy
so i was about to VMOD it today...
before i started to work, i wanted to check the voltage...
but i touched 2 pins of the chip by accident and the system crashed...
picture of the chip
since then the system won't post...
i removed the memory, the hard drives, the cd drives, switched VGA card, everthing.... but it won't post anyway....
any ideas what can i do? or is the board gone? :'-(
BTW:
1. there was no burn smell... or any physical damage appears to the eye...
2. the voltage now when the system is on is 0V!

Check the power supply, be sure and power cycle the power supply. You have good board, most NF2 boards wont get that high, as far as NF7 goes, best Ive ever seen, mine wont get past 220 with any amount of voltage.

I wasn't really refering to vdimm, try upping your Northbridge voltage, even at 1.9 modded, mine wont go above 220
