Is it the pay version, my standard version only has solid blue bars rather than showing a breakdown of the score.

Edit:Yep that's the pay version. Just got it now from the Slide market (there's way too many Android markets, its getting annoying)

Agreed. Keep it to 1 and that's already enough. The fact that I have to search multiple sites for something is annoying.

Why do people even use other markets? The only other one I would consider using as my main would be the Amazon App Store (oh shit...am I allowed to call it that?). Right now I only use it for the free app every day.

because quadrant advanced/pro isn't in the main android market? very retarded i know...

Which Nexus S? The i9020T for t-Mobile?

I'm aware of the issues the i9020A has because it seems the Canadian providers capped HSPA or something.

We ended up flashing the radiofor the i9020T and that worked fine.

I'm using KB3 right now and it's fine. There's a newer KD1 that came out with the 2.3.4 release and it seems to work fine for me also.

I have the Nexus S 4g for sprint

I saw an ad on CL for a trade + cash for my EVO to a Nexus S 4G and made the switch last night. Phone is pretty fast compared to EVO.

Is there a 4G toggle widget for this?

I just picked up a Nexus S 4G today. Wish I could have waited but my mom dropped her phone in the toilet and she wasn't due for an upgrade until a year for now but I was available for a upgrade so I grabbed the Nexus and gave my mom my phone. Coming from a Samsung Moment it's a HUGE upgrade. The stock Gingerbread keyboard is in infinite upgrade from the old stock Android one.

the 2.0 android keyboard is pathetic. yeah. gingerkeyboard is MUCH better. could still use some work on prediction and stuff, but it's pretty nice

welcome to the nexus gang 🙂

TBH, Android cases BLOW.

I tried the Incipio feather case and it's nice and light, but it's like the snap case for the iPod Touch. Feels cheap. I was looking for something that would protect the front.

Just bought this off someone last night:

Pretty good.

I got my case at the Sprint store. Traded in the phone that fell in water for $30 and picked up a damn sturdy case for $10 that protects the front as well. Makes the phone MUCH than I'd like but it'll protects it well. The Sprint Nexus S is slightly thicker than the regular one so all the cases won't fit each other perfectly.

Bad news for Sprint users. Engadget verified that the rumoured speed/signal issues with the Nexus S 4G are accurate. There is definitely a problem here. The upside is that Sprint and Google finally verified that there is a legitimate problem and are working on a fix.

The question is, why did id take so long for Sprint/Google to verify that the problem exists? Don't they perform quality assurance testing before releasing their products to the masses?

I can verify that I have this problem. Of course in the sprint store when I got the phone it had awesome connection but out and about it's not a good connection. Never a dropped call just low signal quality. Even the wifi signal isn't great. Obviously things like this get through testing since we know other phones have had simple problems. Since I just got this phone I have a month to return it and if they haven't fixed it by then, Evo 3D here I come.

Same here. Wife has the EVO and it gets 5 mbps from home while I get 3 mbps consistently. And my Nexus S has never hit the 4.X mbps mark while the EVO has hit 8 mbps in areas I know have strong Wimax.

I also notice the weak wifi vs the EVO. I might sell this and do the EVO 3D. But I do love the size.

Another thing I noticed is that the phone never charges >94%. Anyone else have this problem?

I have to hand it to HTC, they did a good job with Sense.

There's a lot of chatter about the battery charge issue over on Sprint User forums and on XDA.

I got to see one in person today. Man, it looks like a really cheap plasticy version of the Epic 4G without a keyboard.

I don't see what the hype was about.
