My Nexus 7 Tab took a dive :-( ... Now which tablet?

It was a good run, especially for $100. But now it's dead (cue taps). :(

So, which tablets are a good value? The Nexus is no longer being made, so I must move on.

I don't have a big budget (wasn't planning on dropping my baby), but could swing $150... maybe a little more if features were that much better.

Wouldn't mind a bigger screen, but if the display quality isn't better, then I have no problem sticking with a 7"... I see the Galaxy Tab 4 is only $137.59, and the reviews look pretty good.

In the years since I bought the Nexus, I assume costs have gone down?? If so, I'm guessing I can get something closer to a 9" or 10" with a high-quality screen, yes?

You will never see an update on that tab 4. If you don't mind refurbished or pre-owned get another nexus 7

I'm thinking this may be the way to go...

I have one of those and I quite like it. It has a 5.0 (or 5.0.1?) update, and it just runs for days it seems. Performance is more than acceptable enough for web, email, youtube, but don't expect to play demanding 3d games on it.

Edit: I paid $140 or $150 for it at Walmart, though. Price matched to BBuy
