Maybe I've had one to many cocktails, but I'm not sure I get it. It turns blue because the squad car lights reflect off the bumper sticker? Or is it supposed to be like one of those pressure stickers that changes color with impact?

I haven't had that many, but I feel like a bucket of fail right now.

Red shift and blue shift. If the light shifts towards blue relative distance between the objects is shortening, a red shift means the gap is getting wider. Hence, blue shift = you're getting closer to the car in front.

Really clever sticker, the few people that would get it would laugh.
