I just got my new Sapphire x1800xt from newegg.com, reformatted, re-installed windows, etc....installed the latest official drivers from ati.com... After booting up I ran 3dmark and all seemed fine. However, after looking at settings ect, I noticed that Catalyst Information center is showing my core clock at 594 and my memory clock at 693. I went and downloaded ATI Tool and looked at the core and memory through it and it was the same. I thought the core and memory on this card were suppose to be 625/1500 respectively. Did I get a bad card or is something not installed right? It seems to be running ok and I played COD2 and it seemed to run ok, but these readings have me concerned... Any thoughts?

Those are the 2D speeds. The card automatically downclocks in 2D to conserve power. The normal clocks resume in a 3D app.

No thats fine, the 747 will be doubled to give you the full (or near enough) 1500.

Your card is performing perfectly 🙂 I do wish ATI would make it slightly more obvious though as quite a few people have been caught out with this.
