My new watch arrived today

GasX

Lifer
Invicta 8926

Already had it sized to my wrist and it is by far the nicest watch I have ever owned. Thanks to Don Vito for recommending it...

Question for all metal watch band owners: How much does your watch move around on your wrist?

Question. What the hell is Invicta? All the Italians in Toronto seem to wear the Invicta backpacks (or at least kids who have Italian appearance). I'm guessing its an Italian-pride thing?

my watch does not move around much at all. i had it sized tighter because when it was looser, it would always fall down to the bend in my wrist and any bending of my wrist would put a lot of pressure on it.

supposedly, the "fashionable" way to wear it is looser. of course, i'm over 30 so i don't do things for trendiness anymore 😉

Invicta is an odd watch company. They make some really bad watches and some pretty nice ones. They get a lot of hate because what got them famous was the fact that they made replica/fake versions of other watches. For example, I am sure everyone recognizes that the OP's watch looks very similar to a Rolex. The thing is, Invicta never tries to sell it off as a Rolex, so in some people's eyes it's more respectable.

There's always a constant struggle with watch afficianado's and Invicta. Some people see it as a good value brand. Others see it as trash. There are some that have $3000 watches that buy Invictas so they can work on their cars or go surfing, without worrying about damaging anything. Then there are people who would never touch Invicta with a 50 foot pole.

mines doesnt move around that much. its a little loose though, so if i wiggled my wrist, it would drop down to my hand. i only do that though when i want to see what time it is, and also subconsciously, show off a lil bit. 😎

I own two Seiko watches...I can slide both watches about an 1 to 1.5 inches back and forth on my wrist. I would tighten them up a little, but 1 link shorter grows very uncomfortable for me.
