What ya think??

You have specified a DDR mobo and you have got DDR 2 listed there.

You want DDR1 for the s939 Athlon 64

You should be looking at a 2 x 1GB kit PC3200 for best performance.

I would get some better RAM. Something like this Corsair RAM.

4x512 isn't the best setup, and I don't know much about Gigaram to know their quality, but I do like Corsair and OCZ. So, I would suggest a 2x1024 setup with one of those brands for the sake of future upgrades and long life.

Edit: Yes make sure it is DDR1... I didn't notice that before. Thanks George.

Also why buy a crossfire board when you're not going crossfire? Save some money and go for the epox 9na board (or whatever it is).

Eh, I wouldn't gp epox right now for this reason. Go DFI or Asus.

Nice find! Got to wonder how good they could be if they weren't embezzeling!

I agree the Asus A8N E or the single card DFI (i should really learn it's name) would also be much better buys too.

The case is good and the PSU is fine. However, I would consider getting a cheaper case (Cooler Master Centurion 5 or LX-6A19 and a seperate PSU. The LX-6A19 cannot be beat for that price. You can then buy something like a Fortron AX450-PN. This will come to a total of around $85.

I would lose the DFI. It is way too expensive and unless you are a serious overclocker I wouldn't suggest a DFI at all. They can be a little hard to work with.

I would bump up to a 7900GT. It isn't much more expensive at all. If you are overclocking, I would get an Opteron 165. If not, the 4200+ is fine.

There are a couple of things wrong with your memory choice. The first this is that it is DDR2. That won't work with your system. You need regular DDR. Second, don't buy gigaram. The last time I read about user experiences with their RAM there were a handful of people that couldn't even get them to run at their rated speeds. Stick to reputable manufacturers such as Crucial, Corsair, Mushkin, etc. The last thing is that you chose 4 sticks. With 4 sticks you would be forced to run 2T and you would be using all your slots. Just get two 1GB sticks. Some Corsair Value Select is good and is only around $140.

ATI mobo is a no go. Unless your going Crossfire its not as good as an nforce 4 board. Do not get it.

7800GT is obsolete, get a 7900GT for $30 more.

CPU is ok, but if you overclock get an opteron 165/170 or X2 3800+

Ram is incompatible, and also a bad choice. You want 2x 1GB sticks of DDR1 ram. NOT DDR2, and NOT 4x 512MB.

RAptor is a poor choice unless you want extra icing on the cake. Get a 250GB+ 7200RPM drive with 16MB cache and be happy.
